Pvt Myer Rubinton graduated from McKinley High School and was employed as a machinist at the Navy Yard before he enlisted at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland on 8 May 1944.He was killed by small arms fire in his chest.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Hochfelden, France.
