Pfc Harley G. Masters was employed at the Southern Potteries Inc. before he enlisted at Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia on 3 June 1942.He was killed by small arms fire in his chest and loin.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Andilly, France.
