Pvt Theodore Schneidt immigrated to America in 1922. He attended high school for 3 years and was a cabinetmaker at at Thompson Antique Company.

He enlisted in Camp Croft, South Carolina on 14 August 1943.

He was first buried at Temporary American Military Cemetery Solers, France.
