Pfc Francisco Cordeiro was employed at the River Mills Inc.

He enlisted on 24 June 1943 and trained at Camp Stewart, Georgia, Camp Butner, North Carolina and Camp Howze, Texas, before he was sent overseas from Fort George G. Meade, Maryland.

At the time of his death, his brother Joseph was convalescing from wounds received in Germany.
