Pfc Stanley J. Ronavicz enlisted in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania on 16 August 1943.

He trained at Camp Van Dorn, Miss., and had been overseas since Easter 1944. A graduate of Larksville High School, 1940. He was a member of the high school band during that time, playing the trombone. He was a member of St. Mary's Church, Plymouth and prior to his entrance into the service he had been employed as a machinist at Harrison, N.J. He was the only son of his parents.

Pfc Ronavicz was first buried at Temporary American Military Cemetery Fosse, Belgium.
