Pfc Raymond Mundy Jr. enlisted in Allentown, Pennsylvania on 8 May 1943. Before entering the service he was employed by the Philadelphia Bethlehem and New England railroad in Bethlehem. He left for overseas in March, 1944 and had seen action in France and was with the advancing Infantry forces in Germany when he was killed.
