Pvt Thomas Breeze Jr. worked on a farm before he enlisted at Fort Bragg, North Carolina on 30 September 1943.Pvt Breeze was initially buried in a temporary grave at Margraten on 29 December 1944 as Unknown X-65. Before the burial, his fingerprints were taken and the form was photographed and used for comparison of the fingerprints in his file in Washington DC. On 5 May 1945 a reply was received, confirming his identification.
He was disinterred on 2 July 1948 and his remains were prepared and placed in casket on 6 July 1948. He was given his final resting place on 21 January 1949.
