Pvt Walter E. Babcock was killed by shrapnel in the head.He was first buried in a temporary grace on 22 October 1944. He was disinterred on 31 October 1947 and his remains were prepared and placed in a casket on 14 November 1947. He was given his final resting place on 30 July 1948.
