Pfc Fred R. Privett enlisted at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana on 30 January 1941.

He attended high school for 2 years and was a laboratory technician before he enlisted. He landed on Omaha Beach on D-Day. He died of wounds received in action December 22 in Belgium.
