Pvt Juan O. Madril enlisted in Pueblo, Colorado on 1 September 1942.He was taken prisoner in the vicinity of Schlausenbach, Germany on 16 December 1944 and was imprisoned in Stalag IX-B in Bad Orb, Germany.
He was declared death one year and one day after his supposed date of death. The exact circumstances are not known.
