T/4 Patrick V. Thomas awas a salesman.He enlisted in Evansville, Indiana on 28 August 1942. He was sent overseas in October 1944.
He was taken prisoner of war in the vicinity of Schlausenbach, Germany on 16 December 1944 and died at Stalag VIII-A.
At the time of his death his brother William served with the U.S. Navy, Thomas was recovering in a hospital in France and Robert was stationed in the Marianas.
