1st Sgt Douglas J. Reichenau attended 2 years of high school and was a chauffeur before he enlisted at Fort Sam Houston, Texas on 16 July 1942.He was first a member of B Company at Cp. Atterbury and later of H Company and in the end of Anti-Tank Company.
At the time of his death his Company was in the frontline in the vicinity of Auw Bei PrĂ¼m, Germany.
