Pvt Robert L. Herron was a construction worker before he enlisted at Fort Sill, Oklahoma on 24 March 1944.He was taken prisoner on 16 December 1944 and died at Stalag III-B.
He was initially buried at the Quenz Cemetery in Brandenburg, Germany.
