Pfc Steve Tetak enlisted in Akron, Ohio on 18 January 1943.He was already part of his unit during the operations at D-Day and Market-Garden.
He was killed by an artillery shell.
His brother Frank Paul Tetak is commemorated on the Tablets of the Missing at Honolulu Memorial.
