Pvt Eugene W. Seger attended Connelly Trade School.He enlisted in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on 17 March 1943.
Pfc Seger was reported missing in action near Nijmegen, but the exact circumstances of his loss are unknown.
He was officially declared dead one day and one year after he was reported missing in action.
The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency announced today that Pfc Seger was accounted for. Further information will follow (information added June 2026).
