S/Sgt Raymond R. Wagoner graduated from Groom High School and West Texas state College. He worked on an animal farm.He enlisted at Fort Sill, Oklahoma on 21 March 1942.
He was seriously wounded on 28 July 1944 and was evacuated to a hospital in England. He returned to active duty on 3 September 1944.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Foy, Belgium.
