Pfc Raymond O. Gould enlisted at Fort Devens, Massachusetts on 8 April 1944.He was on guard near a fox hole when he started choking. He died on arrival to the aid station.
Pfc. Raymond Gould, 37, formerly of Cowen, was killed in action Feb. 14 while serving with the 3rd Army in Germany, his wife, who resides in Southboro, Mass., has been notified. Besides his wife, he is survived by five children, his parents, Mr. an Mrs. Albert Gould of Framington, Mass, two brothers and two sisters, including Mrs. Elsie Snofgrass of Hewitt.
