Pvt Anthony V. De Bisco was employed by the General Instrument Company.

He enlisted in Newark, New Jersey on 30 August 1943 and was sent overseas in July 1944.

The last letter to his mother was written on the day he was killed. In it he stated he was feeling fine and had recently seen an old friend while on leave in France.
