Pfc Gordon A. Beck was a repairman of motor vehicles before he enlisted in Rutland, Vermont on 24 November 1943.Pfc Beck was awarded the Bronze Star posthumously for meritorious achievement in active ground combat against the enemy, effective 19 September 1944.
