Pfc Hertbert E. Neu attended 1 year of high school, worked as a farm hand and was single, without dependents. He enlisted in Pocatello, Idaho on 21 November 1942.The remains of Pfc Neu were found in Germeter and initially registered as Unknown X-4545. He was evacuated to Ardennes Cemetery and could be identified at the identification facilities.
