Pfc Roy S. Thoren was officially declared dead one year and one day after he was reported missing in action. At that time his unit was fighting in the vicinity of Ettelbruck.
He is remembered at the Mount Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst, DuPage County, Illinois.
