Sgt Lewis L. Beeken graduated from Hamilton High School in 1942 and attended the University of Cincinnati. He was employed by the Hamilton division of the American Rolling Mill Company in New Miami.He enlisted on 23 January 1943 in Cincinnati, Ohio and was sent overseas in July 1944.
