2nd Lt Paul M. Ladginski graduated from high school in 1938 and was employed by the Bryant-Chucking Grinder company in Springfield, Vermont before he enlisted in Rutland, Vermont on 13 April 1942 and trained at Fort McClellan, Alabama.His parents were both born in Poland and the family name in the 1930/1940 Census was written as Ladzinski.
