Charles E. Brown enlisted on 23 July 1942 in Bellevue, Pennsylvania.According to a letter of his division commander, Major General Alexander R. Bolling to his mother, dated 7 March 1945, Pfc Brown was killed by shrapnel during an attack in the vicinity of Doveren and Hetzerath, Germany.
On one photo he poses with his mother and sister, on the other photo with his sisters and brother and on the other with his uncle, mother, brother and sisters.
