Pfc Wilmer E. Hardy graduated from Glen Burnie High School and the Maryland Institute where he studied mechanical drawing. He was employed as a draftsman.He enlisted at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland on 29 March 1944. He was sent overseas in August 1944.
He died of wounds received Germany on 29 November 1944.
