Pvt Eric S. Skidmore graduated from Edison High School and was employed by the Hawk-Eye Works.He enlisted at Fort Dix, New Jersey on 17 April 1944 and was sent overseas in January 1945.
He was killed while on guard duty on a bridge over the Elbe River.
