Pfc Edward A. Mc Guire graduated from St. John's High School.He enlisted in Newark, New Jersey on 20 December 1943.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Foy, Belgium.
At the time of his death his brother was training to become a bombardier in the Air Corps.
