Benjamin S. Hynoski worked for the Hazle Brook Coal Company.

He was married to Bertha Namovich of Shamokin on 31 July 1934.

He enlisted in in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on 24 January 1944. and joined his unit from the 53rd Replacement Battalion on 19 August 1944.

On 8 October 1944 his daughter Contstance Joyce was born but he never would see her.
