Pvt William A. Robertson graduated from Rutherford High School in 1940 and was employed as a tool maker with the Bendix Corporation in Hendix, New Jersey.Pvt. Robertson was engaged to Miss Vivian Warr in February 1943.
He enlisted at Fort Dix, New Yersey on 4 April 1944 and was sent overseas in September 1944.
