Sgt John N. Giandonato graduated from Conshohocken High School in 1942 and was employed at the Philadelphia Uniform Company.He enlisted in Allentown, Pennsylvania on 13 March 1943.
He was reported wounded in action on 22 November 1944 and died in hospital the next day.
His brother, Cpl Anthony V. Giandonato, served with the Marine Corps and was killed on 22 June 1944. He is memorialized at Honolulu Memorial in Hawaii.
