1st Lt Curtis D. Friesner enlisted on 1 April 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minnesota and attended the OCS training program at Fort Benning, Georgia. He was sent overseas in July 1944.He is remembered at the Memorial Park Cemetery and the First Congregational UCC Columbarium in Mason City, Iowa.
