Pfc. Robert W. Jeffries was a production worker.

He enlisted at Fort Thomas Newport, Kentucky on 21 April 1943.

Pfc Robert W. Jeffries was the brother-in-law of Pfc Charles B. Simmons who is buried at the Netherlands American Cemetery and Memorial in Margraten.

His brother, Pvt Ralph Jeffries, was killed on 11 April 1945 and is listed on the Tablets of the Missing at the Luxembourg American Cemetery.
