S/Sgt Samuel G. Risoli enlisted in Jamaica, New York on 4 April 1941.He was initially listed as missing in action. His remains were recovered as Unknown X-9348 and identified after he was given his final resting place interred at Ardennes American Cemetery and Memorial in 1961.
His name is permantly mentioned on the Walls of the Missing at Lorraine Cemetery. A Rosette is placed beside is name to indicate he is accounted for.
