Pvt Fred Rodriguez attended the Fallbrook Union High School for four years. After graduating in 1940 at the age of 18, he had had been working at Consolidated Aircraft plant 2 in San Diego, California. He enlisted at Fort McArthur, San Pedro, California on 3 June 1944.He was a Native American and had lived in the Rincon Reservation before he enlisted.
Pvt Rodriguez is remembered at the Saint Bartholomew Cemetery, Rincon, San Diego, California.
