Pvt Bernard W. Hubacher graduated from Orville High School and was a member of the Future Farmers Organisation. He worked on a farm.He enlisted in Cleveland, Ohio on 1 September 1944. He died in a hospital in Luxembourg ten days after he was wounded.
At he time of his death the 11th Infantry Regiment was engaged in the fighting in the vicinity of Stahl-Birtlingen, West of Bitburg, Germany.
