S/Sgt James L. Hodge was employed at General Electric Company.He joined the Regular Army at Fort Hayes, Ohio on 12 November 1940.
S/Sgt Hodge was seriously wounded on 27 December 1944 and died three days later.
At the time of his death the 11th Infantry Regiment was engaged in fighting in the vicinity of Beaufort-Dillingen, Luxembourg.
