Pfc Lennie J. Tedder joined the Regular Army at Fort Jackson, Columbia, South Carolina. He worked on a farm before he enlisted.At the time of his death the 11th Infantry Regiment was engaged in the fighting at the bridgehead on the Sauer River, North of Echternach, Germany.
