Ralph Harris attended high school for three years and was a truck driver at the Illinois State Hospital in Peoria.He enlisted in Chicago, Illinois on 26 June 1941.
Pvt Harris is remembered with a memorial marker at Corinth Zion Methodist Church Cemetery in Corinth, Williamson County, Illinois.
