Soldier had never seen his own son, Summersville - Pfc Woodrow Wilson Bell, 29, son of Claude J. Bell, prominent Summersville business man, was killed in action in Germany, September 21, according to a telegram from the War department. The telegram was to Mrs. Burges Bell, wife of the soldier, who survives him along with a ten-months-old son the father had never seen.Before going into the service he was associated in business with his father here.
