T/Sgt Alton L. Connell enlisted in Binghamton, New York on 28 September 1943. He attended the Elmira Free Academy and worked at the Langwell Hotel and Schweizer aircraft plant before entering the Army. He trained at North Camp Hood, Tex. and went overseas in April.
T/Sgt Connell was wounded in Germany March 9. He was killed in an accident in Germany on June 18, 1945.
