Pvt Emilio C. Laquidara was a bartender before he enlisted in New York City, New York on 2 November 1943.He was reported missing in action on 13 August 1944. His remains were found in Downerberg, Germany on 17 September 1944. Most likely, he was probably taken prisoner of war in the vicinity of Joue-du-Bois and was later shot. His remains bore the evidence of a gunshot wound.
