Pfc Samuel N. Riddle attended Glenville State College and was employed as a driver before he enlisted in Clarksburg, West Virginia on 27 November 1943 and was sent overseas in May, 1944.Pfc Riddle was first buried at Temporary American Military Cemetery of Solers, France.
