Pfc Edgar J. Schall was employed as an Assistant Librarian at the Newark Public Library.He enlisted in Newark, New Jersey on 15 May 1943. He was wounded in the Mausbach area, Germany.
He was taken prisoner and died in Stalag VI-G.
Pfc Edgar J. Schall is remembered at Gates of Heaven Cemetery in East Hannover, Essex Count, New Jersey with a memorial marker.
