More information

S/Sgt Harold Perrine graduated from Flemington High School in 1936. He worked at Dorf Brothers in Flemington, New Jersey.

He enlisted at Fort Dix, New Jersey on 4 February 1942 and was sent overseas in September 1943.

When his mother received the telegram of the War Department, she believed there was a mistaken identity as S/Sgt Harold Perrine had a cousin named Harold Perrine serving overseas as well.

His father and another brother died in a tragic car accident five years prior to his death.

He is remembered at the Three Bridges Reformed Church Cemetery in Three Bridges, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.
