Pfc Paul H. Rowley worked as a bartender before he enlisted in Utica, New York on 22 January 1944 and was sent overseas in Juley 1944.He did quite a bit of amateur boxing and was a better-than average boxer.
He is believed to have died from wounds. It was the third time he had been wounded. The first time on 12 January 1945 and the second time on 12 February 1945. Both were leg wounds.
