Pfc Arthur Petruzzello had seen action during the North African campaign where he was taken prisoner. He was released when the prison ship on which he was held was retaken by Allied forces.His brother T/Sgt Mario Petruzziello was killed in January 1945. He is buried at the American Military Cemetery and Memorial of Ardennes.
His name was misspelled and is actually Petruzziello.
Both his parents were born in Italy.
