Pfc Roxy A. Avery enlisted in Seattle, Washington on 15 November 1943. Het attend high school for 4 years and was a pattern and model maker before he enlisted.He was killed by shrapnel in both legs. He was first buried at block VVV, row 2, grave 33 on 1 March 1945. He was disinterred on 17 November 1947 and his remains were prepared and placed in a casket the same day. He was given his finale resting place on 11 August 1948.
