Pvt Frank L. Bell was a maintenance painter before he enlisted in Newark, New Jersey on 27 January 1944. he was sent overseas in August 1944.

He was initially buried in a temporary grave at Margraten on 12 May 1945 and was given his final resting place in January 1949.

Pvt Bell is remembered at North Branch Reformed Church Cemetery in Branchburg Park, Somerset County, New Jersey.
