1st Lt William A. Warner, Jr. attended the University of Alabama and graduated with a degree in civil engineering.The remains of 1st Lt Warner were found in Vossenack and initially registered as Unknown X-5758. He was evacuated to Ardennes Cemetery and could be identifed at the research facilities there.
He is remembered at the Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville, Alabama.
