Pfc Manuel Amaral enlisted in Boston, Massachusetts on 27 October 1942. He worked in a textile factory before he enlisted.The remains of Pfc Amaral were found in Vossenack and initially registered as Unknown X-5621. He was evacuated to Ardennes Cemetery and could be idnetified at the research facilities.
